SLE Church AGM 2025
“It’s AGM time!”
Let’s be honest, that’s probably not a phrase that has caused us to spring out of bed to get to church on a Saturday morning!
Yet, our Annual General Meeting is an important part of our membership of SLE Church. It’s the opportunity to gather as God’s people invested in God’s work as expressed in this local body of His. More than just an administrative meeting, it’s an opportunity to hear what God has been doing among us and work out how we can play a part in shaping the future direction of our church together.
What to expect
As part of our ongoing desire to be a community of maturing disciples investing in the next generations, we’ll be setting aside time during this AGM to reflect on the importance of church membership. We’ll explore what it means to belong meaningfully to a local church, and how membership helps us live out our calling as Christ’s body.
This will also be a chance to review a draft of our new Church Covenant — a short, clear expression of what it means to belong to SLE Church — shaped by biblical convictions, shared responsibilities, and gospel partnership.
This discussion is not just theological, but deeply pastoral and practical — helping us walk together with clarity, joy, and unity in Christ.
