At the end of chapter 2 we saw that while Boaz had taken care of Ruth (and Naomi) economically, there were some big family issues still to be resolved along with the long term security and rest of Ruth and Naomi. So how will the complications be resolved?

In Ruth 3 we’ll see that it takes faith in a little bit of planning by Naomi, some initiative from Ruth, and the trustworthiness of Boaz to follow through on his promises.
