In this final chapter of Ruth all things are now worked together for the good of his people. The clouds that Naomi dreaded in chapter 1 now break with big mercies and gracious blessings as Boaz performs a costly redemption.

These blessings are not only for her, and not only for Ruth, but for God’s people across all time. We will see in Ruth 4 how God providentially provides what his people need most: a Messiah King who will redeem his people in the most costly way.
