Life is full of BIG questions, but none are more important than questions about salvation. In this passage, an unnamed questioner asks Jesus: “will those who are saved be few?”. Jesus responds by urging his listeners to respond to him before it’s too late and the consequences too tragic.

He warns especially those who think they will enter God’s kingdom, but won’t because they haven’t properly responded to Jesus. The clear message for us as we begin this new year is to ask ourselves: “will I strive, and will I keep striving, to be among the saved?”
