We believe the Bible is God’s word and that it reveals to us His plan for salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe it is one unified story that was inspired by God and written by human authors – the Old Testament is God’s word of preparation and promise regarding Jesus Christ and the New Testament is God’s word recording and explaining the person and work of Jesus Christ. The author’s original intent and meaning should be preserved, therefore the shape and emphasis of our sermons match the shape and emphasis of the biblical text.
