Israel’s (and humanity’s) hope lies in the LORD Himself who acts to vindicate His holy name, who acts by giving new life through His very own Spirit. Nothing short of re-creation is needed for new life. In Christ, the dead are and are given cleansed and Spirit-filled heart which means that we can have certain hope of a new life of obedience, unity as a church and living in honour of God’s name.
