Finally! Finally, we get to the great ‘hope’ we’ve been longing to hear in the second ‘half’ of Ezekiel’s book. This section of hope kicks off with the reversal of Israel’s bad leadership that has led to their downfall. The LORD Himself through His shepherd David will bring reversal and restoration. The LORD will raise a servant, David, who will shepherd His sheep. Jesus Christ came in fulfilment of this promise and hope. He is the good shepherd, who comes to rescue those who are lost, to give the life of true goodness and peace we were created for, and which we yearn to have. So, trust in Jesus and follow him!
