Satan, the defeated dragon has been cast down to earth, unable to destroy the church, yet he remains dangerous, seeking to do as much damage as he can. Satan raises up two beasts in this war (forming the ‘unholy trinity’), one representing power, the other representing falsehood to draw the worship of the world and turn the worship of Christians away from the True Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Christians are given the important perspective and insight into this worship war so that those under forceful persecution may endure through it knowing God is in control and those under the deception of falsehood would be wise and remain clear-headed and steadfast.
