War between nations, war in our relationships, the daily struggles of work and life, the internal struggles of fear and shame, the slowing of our bodies in age, death and decay. We see it all around us, we experience it daily, and it all has one singular cause: sin.

Again this week we will slow down to notice the details of a familiar story and as we see Adam and Eve rebel against God we will find ourselves right there, doing the same things today. This is a story not just about the entrance of sin into the world, but the very nature of sin itself.
