Jesus, humble king who brings peace, enters into Jerusalem and into the temple. He is shown to be the cornerstone, the very determiner of life and peace, yet he is rejected by the Jewish leaders. Habitual rejection of Jesus is tragic and fatal, but Jesus gives life and peace with all certainty to those who humbly come to him.
