As we come to the end of this sermon series at about the halfway point of Acts, we see the gospel is truly in motion. God is committed to the global growth of the gospel.

Beginning in Jerusalem, then out through Judea and Samaria, the gospel is now going out to the ends of the earth. The work of Christ carries on, unstoppable, unhindered, through His Spirit-filled apostles and disciples. It carries on even through powerful persecution, because the Lord’s power will always triumph, and He will ensure that the gospel grows.

And so, for us believers, we are called to keep trusting our powerful Lord, praying with faith, especially when we suffer for Christ, and persevere in the ministry of the gospel.
