The church in Corinth was full of division, pride, confusion, and compromise. Yet before Paul answers their many issues, he takes them to the cross. This Good Friday, we begin our series in 1 Corinthians by seeing how Christ crucified is not merely the starting point of the Christian life, but the power and wisdom of God that reshapes every part of it. As Paul will show, the cross does not sit at the edge of our faith – it stands at the centre.
