The resurrection is not just the happy ending to the story of Jesus – it is the truth that holds the whole Christian faith together. On Easter Sunday, we’ll see why Paul insists that if Christ has not been raised, we are left in a terrible mess: still in sin, without hope, and with nothing solid to stand on. But because Christ has been raised, everything is different. Our labour is not in vain, our future is secure, and our hope is alive.
