In light of our church theme this year (Taking the Next Step) we’ll be exploring the Old Testament and looking at 1 Samuel. 1 Samuel traces the rise, fall and rise of Israel’s kingship and we’ll be looking at the text and asking ourselves questions of what sort of leaders God’s Church needs and what sort of leaders we’re hoping to find.

I’m very excited, as always, to be plumbing the depths of God’s grace with us all and especially through 1 Samuel!
