Knowing truth is not enough: applying it in loving ways is what is most important. Our knowledge must never be used to puff ourselves up and lack consideration for others, instead our knowledge should always be used in a way that lovingly builds up others.

Though having rights by tradition and Law, Paul gave them up to win people to Christ. In this way, Paul modelled for Corinth why they should give up their rights.

Being thoughtless and careless and faithless in our use of freedoms will lead to our own destruction and the destruction of others. So... always use your freedoms in a way that only ever grows your faith, does good to others and glorifies God.
