We are SLE Church.

We believe that the church is not a building but a gathering of God’s people. Being a family in Christ is what we’re all about.

Current Series: Titus

“For the sake of the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness...” (Titus 1:1) “So that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.” (3:8) In this short letter from Paul to Titus, we see a series of instructions that Titus must adhere to if this young church is to remain faithful. Plagued by false teachers who contradict sound doctrine, Titus is to teach what accords with the truth, appoint godly elders, and exhort his church to godly living in their homes, with one another, and in their workplaces. All while avoiding any false teaching that is unprofitable, including casting aside individuals who refuse to obey sound doctrine. What is sound doctrine? It is the grace of God appearing in the form of Jesus, which trains faithful Christians to be godly.

    Replay Series: The Gospel Unchained

In the story of Acts so far, we’ve seen God send his people, by his Spirit, to bring the gospel of Jesus beyond the lands of the Jews to people of all nations. As we turn to the third and final phase of Acts, this seemingly unstoppable gospel mission hits a snag—the apostle Paul is imprisoned and held in chains. As Paul staunchly defends the gospel and his mission, everyone around him will come to realise that nothing ever has and ever will stop God’s unchanging plan to proclaim and establish his kingdom.
