We are SLE Church.

We believe that the church is not a building but a gathering of God’s people. Being a family in Christ is what we’re all about.

Current Series: The Fall of the Untouchable Empire

At a time when global powers feel increasingly unstable and the future uncertain, the book of Nahum helps us learn how to see the world through God’s eyes. Written when a brutal empire appeared unassailable, Nahum declares that no nation or power stands beyond God’s justice or oversight. This short series invites us to resist fear, reject false confidence in human strength, and find steady comfort in the Lord who rules history with righteousness and patience.

    Replay Series: Titus

“For the sake of the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness...” (Titus 1:1)

“So that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.” (3:8)

In this short letter from Paul to Titus, we see a series of instructions that Titus must adhere to if this young church is to remain faithful. Plagued by false teachers who contradict sound doctrine, Titus is to teach what accords with the truth, appoint godly elders, and exhort his church to godly living in their homes, with one another, and in their workplaces. All while avoiding any false teaching that is unprofitable, including casting aside individuals who refuse to obey sound doctrine. What is sound doctrine? It is the grace of God appearing in the form of Jesus, which trains faithful Christians to be godly.

    Replay Series: The Five Scrolls

Across Scripture, God’s people have sung and wept, questioned and rejoiced – walking through every season of the soul. The Five Scrolls (Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, and Esther) capture that full emotional range of life under God. Each book gives voice to a different season – new beginnings, grief, searching, love, and trust – yet together they reveal one faithful God who is present in them all.
